Why it matters
Screens are great at geometry and bad at feel. A printed part in hand shows a stylist, a supplier, or a manufacturing engineer exactly how a gap, a clip, or a duct will behave — and it's ready in hours instead of weeks.
How I use it
- Gap visualization — printed sections of body panels to evaluate fit and the visual quality of gaps and flushness.
- Wind tunnel hardware — printed duct and bumper variants to test aerodynamic ideas on a real vehicle.
- Supplier conversations — physical parts make DFM and DFA reviews faster and more concrete.
