The problem
Measuring two offset surfaces on a 15 L rocker lever was slow and inconsistent — the part could shift during measurement, and every shift was error in the result.
The approach
I designed a measuring table with an integrated clamping system. The table base serves as the datum, and the clamps hold the rocker lever stationary so both surfaces can be measured against a stable reference.
The result
An easy, efficient inspection step with accurate and precise measurements.
